i have i 4* IG88 and Sid and have sid at geat 6 ig88 at gear 7. and want to know before i waste more gear and shards for sid. i would like to know does sid do more damage? because both have a AOE and health block. only thing sid has is a self heal and leader ability. i dont use any of their leader abilitys instead use Phasma. my load out i plan on using is.
lead 5*Phamsa
Healer 5*JC or a dark side healer if we get one.
4* Fo officer
4* Kylo
4* Sid or Ig88?
trying a first order team. Fo storm and tie pilot would take to long to star up.

I'd say stick with Sid on that lineup. IG-88 has no HP and you aren't bringing anyone in to protect him.
Also Daka is the dark side healer and she does work pretty well with a Phasma team due to her primary having stun.

I say Sidious just because IG-88 I heard is more of a glass cannon and if I am battling you I wipe him out rather quickly and it's 4 vs 5. That's from what I've heard, I'm currently getting Sidious.

i dont like daka. her heal sucks and when i barrow her she only stunned one guy and never revives anyone. i rather wait on a dark side healer that does more healing.they have a stormtrooper that throws a ball and heals everyone. just make it first order and that will work.

in terms of DAMAGE DELT ONLY. Its 88 all the way.
There is other downsides to 88 such as health and speed. But none the less the question is on sheer damage.

FWIW, the only way i would use IG88 with with full droid squad or with a tank. I read that IG88 has lowest health ingame - even lower than Darth Maul. Not sure of the truth of that but I do know I snipe him almost every game within 2nd round.

I went with 88 when I saw the chance as he was one of my fist action figures back in the day and there is no comparison, he does way more damage then sid. The difference is that sid takes care of himself, kind of have too at that advanced age, with his self heal. The droid doesn't fell pain so you need someone to protect him as he isn't worried about health.
Now if I can just get 88 to hand one of his guns to 555s so he will give up on those nerf pistols and actually apply some damage.

Easily IG88 if you are just talking about damage. For your Phasma team, Sid would be better. IG88 is better for high offensive squads.

Ig-88 is also great for heavy aoe teams....you get bonus damage for dots...I havr seen my 88 crit 7k....I don't care if he dies second round, as long as he gets a shot or two off. As for defense...well your going to lose spots anyway.

Ig88 and Sid have great synergy in the same team. Sids dots boost IG88's damage through the roof. Add in poogle offense up and it's poetry in motion.

Plus 88 has an ability block chance...that can be very helpful, and synergize well with Poggle, Boba, and Lumi for an ability block team.

In practice, it is. The reasonnis that Sid has lots of dodge and also seal-healts whenever anyone dies. So effective HP is like 50% more than apparent.
